This report, although known to all the Sudanese people, is new to the outside world. It was co-edited by Professor Abdel Moneim Suleiman with a number of journalists including:

The report, which began on BBC International, will be published from yesterday and in 20 international languages, including Arabic. It will also be launched by international newspapers, radio stations and international news agencies.
The report speaks of killings, torture and excessive violence, which the security services met with unarmed peaceful protesters. The report also includes photographs of detainees, secret prisons and testimonies with some detainees.
