Canadians headed to the polls on Monday to vote in the 2019 federal election. Will Justin Trudeau‘s Liberals or Andrew Scheer‘s Conservatives manage a victory? Will Jagmeet Singh’s NDP, Elizabeth May‘s Greens or the Bloc Quebecois hold the balance of power in a minority government? Will Maxime Bernier‘s People’s Party of Canada win another seat? Or will the election result in a hung Parliament, as many experts believe?

Polls will be open 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Newfoundland Time, Atlantic Time and Central Time; 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Eastern Time; 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Mountain Time and in Saskatchewan; and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Pacific Time.

A party needs to win 170 out of 338 federal ridings to claim a majority government. Here’s where they all stood at the start of the election:

177: Liberal seats at dissolution.

95: Conservative seats at dissolution.

39: New Democratic Party seats at dissolution.

10: Bloc Quebecois seats at dissolution.

2: Green seats at dissolution.

1: People’s Party of Canada seats at dissolution.

8: Independent MPs at dissolution.
