Mass Resignations From Emergency Doctors With Medical Weapons

A number of emergency doctors, who have contracted medical weapons, resigned from work in protest at the killing of protesters and the suppression of demonstrations by live bullets.
The Central Medical Committee announced the strike on the twenty-fourth of December 2018, in order to refuse to shoot at demonstrators and assault them in hospitals, and directed its staff not to deal with cold conditions.
Doctors working in the hospitals of the security, police and military services (Al-Amal – Police – Medical Corps – Alia) carried out a comprehensive strike after doctor Babiker Abdel Hamid in a land demonstration, in response to a call by the Central Committee of Physicians.
